Intro - Locate
When the 'Locate Two Jays' link is selected on the menu bar a sub menu appears. The one shown here is from Thursday 21st August 2008.
The purpose of the links and descriptions is to show where we are. This takes the form of a weekly cycle starting on a Friday.
- First line: Our location on the most recent Friday.
This is a link and if followed goes to the relevant waterways map. To find where we are on that map look for the green box pointing to the place given. Remember that the green boxes show the year they relate to.
- Second line: Friday Night Moorings
This is a link and if followed goes to the page showing all our Friday Night Moorings for the current year. This could be used to follow our cruising progress.
The latest Friday Night Mooring picture is usually also the photo on the Home Page. If you are familiar with the waterway we are on and/or the area this will show you our actual mooring place.
- More lines:
On succeeding days an entry is added each day showing our location that day.
Note: When we are at a place for an extended time these lines are replaced by a line that is a link giving additional information on how to find us there. This is used when we are at our winter mooring.
Our aim is to update this information by 8pm each day. This is not always possible.
If we are at a location where we are unable to get a mobile phone signal we would be unable to do any updates.
