Here is an example of a map of a waterway and below an explanation of the symbols.
- White dots
show that we have cruised this waterway.
- A number in a box shows an activity.
- The number represents the year
- The box colour represents a different activity:
over night stop;
winding (turn round);
work on boat;
winter stay;
crane out;
crane in.
